Are EU Penalties on Russia ‘not tough enough’?
(MENAFN) On Sunday, Leader of United States Donald Trump stated that he is ready to enforce more sanctions on Russia, but Europe must take actions comparable to US.
He stated to reporters as he was heading back to the White House from Morristown, New Jersey "Europe is buying oil from Russia. I don't want them to buy oil, and the sanctions that they're putting on are not tough enough. I'm willing to do sanctions, but they're going to have to toughen up their sanctions commensurate with what I'm doing."
His statement reflected his Saturday’s stance when he posted a letter to NATO nations as well as the globe on Truth Social, which is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), that he is “ready to do major Sanctions on Russia when all NATO Nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO Nations STOP BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA.”
